their work in their lifetime.

but with more emphasis of the mechanics and technological aspects of
visual design, style, and layout software. Great graphic designers are
artists who are talented and technically and conceptually superior with
a wide range of computer tools and techniques.
Short deadlines, image processing and acquisition tools, typography,
and staying in tune or slightly ahead of trends in the industry are
also major elements of this industry.
Art directors do it all. Not only are they expected to be superior
artists in their own right, they must be conceptually excellent, able
to manage and assign other artists, create and/or attend to budgetary
and time constraints, and tie it all together to produce the finished
product.
Art directors are responsible for all art content, whether it be video,
sound, graphics, animation, etc. Art directors must be able to interface
and communicate with a variety of media specialists – clients,
artists, technicians, executives, and more.
Traditional design training and experience with educating others are
both traits that come in handy for this demanding position.
